The biggest lesson I’ve failed to learn sooner as an actor in the business of hollywood is that:

I’m not here to make friends. I’m here to tell a good story….

Ive learned the long way round that one is certainly not dependent on the other. That said, I’m not looking to make enemies either. It’s really just a question of priorities. Story first, friendship second. Help me make the story great, or get the fuck out of my way. If you help me, we can be friends. If you get in the way of telling the story by confusing it with bad ideas, you’ve simply cast yourself as a hurdle for me to jump over….

There are no problems; only creative solutions.
