In The Absence of Good & Evil

If one were to remove the limitations of such arbitrary and subjective judgments such as Good & Evil, what you are left with is a field of Archetypes, modulating in and out of harmonic convergence. Archetypes are inescapable influences upon the individual and collective psyche. We are either in, or out of alignment with them at any given time, but never are we separate from them. When we are aware of our personal archetypes, or in-light of their fullness, we begin a magnetic alignment with them. As we start surging toward, and merging within them, we begin to draw from their great insight and power, flowing within the grace and majesty of their pure essence; bringing blessings and abundance to the moment and to all those around us. We are now plugged into in the cradle of our power, bright, radiant, and in tune with our divine potential. When we are un-aware of our personal archetypes, and out of their radiance, we are then eclipsed and cast into the bipolarity of their shadow, haunted by their ghoulish nightmares, out of tune with our purpose, becoming pale and ill with fear. The King becomes the Tyrant, The Warrior becomes the Sadist, the Lover becomes the Addict. This said, the Shadows purpose is not to dis-empower, and destroy us, but rather to antagonize us back into our power, teasing out our courage, and giving us the chance to cure our fear of the unknown by facing it head-on. Courage, not Love, is the opposite of Fear. Therefore, by curing the illness of fear through the effort of courage we move out of the Shadow, back into the fullness of Light, and enter the transcendental state of Love. Love = Light+Dark. For it is in the Shadow we learn of light, and it is in light we learn to love. Be in light my friends, and thank your shadow for showing you the way, the way of Courage, the way of the Hero, the way of Love. This is what I believe Rumi meant when he wrote, There is a Field:

Beyond the Illusion of Good & Evil, there is a Field. I’ll meet you there.

No one is ever good or bad. They are simply in process of understanding love, either in-lightened, or in-shadowed by their personal archetypes. It is in this understanding we find Forgiveness - Forgiveness of others, and most importantly, forgiveness of ourselves…
