“Hello.”
“I’m pregnant.”

“Dont worry, it’s not yours”

“Hello. Are you there?”
“Yeah I’m here.”
“Well?”
“Are you gonna keep it?”
“I think so.”
(pause)
“Will you at least tell me your real last name then.”
“I don’t see how that’s relevant now.”
“Why are u telling me this?”
“I wanted to thank you.”
“What for?”
“I stopped taking the pill for you.”
“Why?”
“I was hoping it would have been yours.”
“How thoughtful you are.”
(pause)
“So what’s the lucky guys name?”
“Michael.”
“We have the same name?”
“Strange, I know.”
“That’s an understatement.”
(pause)
“Look, I’ve gotta go. Good luck with everything. I’m sure you two will be very happy.”
(pause)
“I called to say I love you.”
(pause)
“Don’t say that. Don’t cheapin the word. Look, I’ve gotta go. Have a nice day, and enjoy your karma. Good bye.”
