The Challenge of Conservation

As many of you pointed out yesterday there are many species on our beautiful planet that face extinction, and desperately need our help and attention… This truth can be overwhelming and somewhat paralyzingly in its scope… With this in mind, where does one begin? My feeling is this:
Begin with your passion. If one cause speaks more to your heart than another, follow it!
After realizing the peril Rhinos and Elephants face, my passion for their cause revealed itself to me yesterday. “But what about all the other animals???” many if you asked.
My feeling is this. On a quantum level of connectivity, by focusing on one cause, you help all causes. So pick yours and help them all…
Remember: everyone can understand the drop entering the ocean, but not all can understand the ocean entering the drop. For me, passion is the point of focus for change. To extend your passion to cover a broad range of problems, while noble, dilutes the efficacy of your passions focus… A nuclear bomb explodes when one atom is split, not 100.
All that said, conservationists are faced with the challenge of changing the culture of supply and demand that drives black market desires. Consequently, conservationist face a monumental challenge. A challenge that needs the fuel of passion… Don’t let the bleakness and broad range of our challenges distract you form your passions power… Get involved, whatever its, get passionate, and lets get going. We got work to do.
Our bright future is ours to be made.

The Natural Economic Order of Hope

Dear friends,
To all people out there facing a housing crisis here in the states or abroad, I have an idea I want you to take to your city council members and local credit unions….
Using Imminent Domain laws, the city should acquire all homes from banks that are foreclosing on people who can no longer afford payments. Having done this, the city should then implement Silvio Gesell’s Natural Economic Order which uses an elegant financial system of negative interest, and signing a 99 year fixed lease with 0 intrest, allow the home owners back into their homes thereby freeing them from the Banks excessive and never ending interest payments. All the money payed toward the leases from then on goes back into the city for beautification, renewal, local services like Firemen, policemen, schools ect. and a local healthcare system that covers all residents. Its just the tip of the iceberg, but I think its a start.
Read Silvio Gesell’s The Natural Economic Order, and just see how beautiful his ideas really are.
Free Money
Free Land
Free the Future.

Ps.
With this system in place,
Its also signals the end for excessive taxes. Your lease is your tax.
Between sales tax and your your lease payment that should be enough for the community to get going.

Dead Men Tell No Tales

I just finished reading Mark Owen’s book, No Easy Day. Mark is a former Navy SEAL who was part of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. It’s a brilliant book and a vital piece of history that seeks to correct the “official” story as told by the White House. I also just watched Kathryn Bigelow’s film, Zero Dark Thirty. It’s a raw, and haunting film that beautifully portrays the manhunt for OBL, and the Navy SEAL raid on his compound.
Needless to say, I’m now firmly convinced that we will never know the truth about whoever was really killed in that raid. Both the book and the film leave open the possibility that it may not have been bin Laden they killed at all.
Tragically, months after the raid, 22 Navy SEALs from the same unit that conducted the operation on OBL where all killed when their helicopter was shot down.
With all the evidence from the raid confiscated by the CIA, OBLs body immediately dumped out at sea, and 22 Navy SEALs related to the mission now dead, it’s clear someone doesn’t want the truth to be known….

It’s stories like these that make me pray for Truth and Justice to prevail.

Odd odd’s

I guess I never realized this, but did you know that both the World Trade Center Towers were each 110 floors high?
Numerically speaking, that means each tower represents 11. Building 7, the other WTC building that mysteriously collapsed on its own, was 47 floors.
Numerically, 47= 11. Interesting.
Now check this out.
9-11-2001, WTC 1, WTC 2, WTC 7
Numerically working from the outside in,
from the left side of this equation, 9+1+1= 11. From the right side, 7+2+1+1= 11. Now what about the 2 left over from 2001? Numerically, 2 breaks down into two 1’s or, 11.
So numerically speaking,
each building number plus the date can be numerically reduced to a series of 11’s.
Now, the first plane to strike the Towers was AA Flight 11, which had 11 crew members. There were 87 fatalities, plus the 5 hijackers. Numerically,
8+7=15, 1+5 = 6, 6 + the 5 hijackers reduces to 11.
Next was UA Flight 175, which had 9 crew members. (Can you believe it? The crew on each plane numerically represents 9-11) In total on the flight, there were 60 fatalities + the 5 hijackers. Numerically, 60+5 clearly reduces to 11.
Now what about the numerology of Flight 175?
Numerically, 175 reduces to 13, which reduces to 4, which in turn reduces to two 2’s which then breaks down into two sets of ones, 11, 11.
Now, aside from exposing myself as a loon with too much time on my hands, I just find that to be odd odds

The Warrior

This time last year I asked the question: What are your archetypes of power? This question was based on the book, King, Warrior, Magician, Lover, by Robert Moore. (These are applied to women as well substituting Queen for King obviously)
A Jungian, he asserts that we all psychophysically share these four archetypes, and are either in their full maturity and light, or are immature servants to their shadow. Without getting too far into the broad range of this subject, I’ve observed something interesting I’d like to share.
For me, I’ve noticed that these archetypes can be applied quarterly to the year as well. For example; the first three months are ruled by the Warrior. A time where we set goals and resolutions, and where we typically challenge our bodies to become fit with discipline and to give up attachments that weaken our abilities. The next three months, by the King/Queen who’s supreme rule and order bring a fertile and abundant land, Spring. The next three months are ruled by the Lover, who burns bright with love and light who’s culmination turns into Fall. The lover who then “falls in love”. The last three months are ruled by the Magician, where we encounter the magical holidays like Halloween, and Christmas.
That said, we are in the first quarter of year who is ruled by the Warrior.
I offer this concept to bring theme, and inspiration to your days. To provide order to your power to your life.
For example. I’ve been reading the book Service. It was written by former Navy Seal (the supreme archetype of our country’s warrior) Marcus Luttrell. From it, I’ve learned something invaluable. Within the book is an exchange between him and a senior Navy Seal, who tells him:
“Fear is force. Being afraid is a state of mind. Fear sharpens your senses. Being afraid paralyses them.”
Wow.
Another motto of the Seals which you can easily translate into your life: “If every Seal was as good me, how good would the Seal Teams be?”
Mind blown….
To further illuminate the point, in Robert Moore’s book, The Warrior Within, he says this:
“Though the Lover initiates a relationship, it is the Warrior who maintains it- without the Warrior the Lover is merely promiscuous.”

With this in mind, in what ways can you challenge yourself to find your edge, access your inner warrior, and glean the invaluable lessons that Warrior can offer you in leading and living the full light of your power.

Namaste friends

Most people move from act to act without any struggle or thought. A hunter, on the contrary, assesses every act … he proceeds judiciously, as if every act were his last battle… .
It’s only natural that his last act on earth should be the best of himself.
~ Carlos Castaneda

You use women for life support, she said…
I’ve been in love one too many times. It’s lashings have licked the flesh from my heart. It beats out of necessity for my time is not up. Perhaps you are right. However, you use men for hope and validation. That’s why I give you my words. That’s why a man is his word.
We use each other to survive, he said.

Dear Schopenhauer,

The will of the heart
paints the representation of love.
A beauty to behold
Its transcendence above.
Below is the thought,
denial the way.
Tho true understanding
paints the day.

Somewhere
between the sacred and the profane was place called Earth.
There, some would say, one could find heaven.
And so they came from far and wide to see if this was true.
What they found was close enough for the sky was always
blue.
